In 1998 Arnaud Brichet arrives to the Dominican Republic as any other tourist from France, he feels captivated by the charm of the country and its exotic Caribbean landscapes. Arnaud decides to establish himself in Punta Cana where he works for a tourism agency, without pushing aside his interest in photography.
Later on he shares his work evenly between the agency and freelance photography. Eventually Arnaud chooses to leave his job at the agency to become a full-time photographer. Because of the increasing demand for photography he’s forced to recruit fellow photographers giving birth to Huellas Del Caribe, S.A., located in Bavaro, Punta Cana.
Huellas Del Caribe, also known as HDC Photo, is created in 2001. Its main goal by then is the development and sale of Photographic and Cinematic material to tourists in different excursions and tours.
Shortly after, he opens his own store in the prestigious Punta Cana Resort, establishing what is today its main purpose: the making of photo sessions and video & photo coverage of weddings. The company quickly gains a reputation in the area and becomes acclaimed by other hotels.
